Thursday July 30, 2009

Frank McClelland will demonstrate a Summer menu from his book Wine Mondays: Simple Wine Pairings with Seasonal Menus (co-authored with Christie Matheson) at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston on Friday, July 31st, from 6:30 until 8pm. This will be the final installment of the ICA’s Talking Taste Summer series of cooking demonstrations, overlooking the Boston harbor.  It’s a perfect way to start your weekend!

Join Chef McClelland as he demonstrates how to make this Summer menu:

  • Heirloom Tomato Soup with Succotash
  • Butter and Herb-Poached Maine Lobster with Cucumber, Avocado, and Nasturtium Salad
  • Roasted Duck with Ginger and Plums
  • Nick’s Wild Mint Ice Cream with Warm Berries

Paired wines will be available for purchase at the ICA bar, and copies of Wine Mondays will be available following the event.
