Holiday Menu: Feast of the Seven Fishes
Posted by Adam
Thursday December 16, 2010The Feast of the Seven Fishes is quite possibly one of the most memorable of holiday meals around this time of year (at least for those Italian-Americans who tend to celebrate it with great gusto) and what holiday table would be complete without a meal that highlights the bounty that the ocean offers us? In the menu that follows, here is our interpretation of this annual culinary tradition, complete with seven fish/shellfish courses and five sides. We welcome home cooks to our table, to mix and match these recipes as best fits your own culinary celebration and hope the recipes that follow come with plenty of good holiday tidings, family/friends, and memories.
The Seven Fishes:
2. Connecticut Coast Steamers with Drawn Butter
