We love our fair trade coffee, our free range chicken, and our hormone-free milk… now, eco-conscious consumers are clamoring for organic cocktails! Join Paul Abercrombie, author of the new book Organic, Shaken and Stirred, at his Chicago book launch & cocktail party event on Monday, 11/30. Unwind after the holiday with a fabulous organic cocktail, prepared by Paul and master mixologist Adam Seger. Then pick up a signed copy of the book to give as a holiday gift to your boozy pals.
Free drink samples will be poured from 6pm until 8pm. Watch a demo of how to make eco-friendly drinks at home, and ask the author about how to imbibe sustainably. Drinks will include the Snap-Pea-Irinha, made from organic gin, organic snap peas, organic lime, simple syrup and freshly ground black pepper.
