Judith M. Fertig has been nominated for both the James Beard and IACP Cookbook Award and has authored or co-authored more than twenty cookbooks. She has contributed to Gourmet, Food & Wine, Saveur, Country Living, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, and The New York Times and for many years she wrote a weekly column for the Kansas City Star. Trained at La Varenne and the Cordon Bleu, Fertig lives outside of Kansas City, Kansas.
